Miniature Dachshund Breeders with a Difference
Socialisation, acclimitisation and development programmes
alongside giving our puppies the very best start in life
is something we are super passionate about.
We work hard behind the scenes to adapt and tweak our plans once we've found or created beneficial activities in our studies to add to our programmes.
At a glance and to name a few, our puppies are sound & tactile stimuli desensitised, enrichment seekers, crate trained, acclimiitised to firework & thunder sounds, ramp trained and trained to use a toilet grass mat.

Creating mild frustration and arousal situations like this obstacle challenge above gives opportunities for our puppies to problem solve positively. It's proven that puppies given regular enrichment problem solving activities from an early age will grow up to be less stressed, more stable and
less likely to show frustration later on in life when faced with challenges.
Socialising with older/larger dogs and adding various tactile and audial stimuli gives our puppies huge skills and tolerances of various sights, sounds and textures. This in return has been proven to be beneficial for all round better acclimatisation for everyday life.
Providing stimuli at an early age means
our puppies are more likely to grow up confident, calm ,less afraid of new things
and ready for the outside world.
Training our litters to help with home life transitioning is a key part of our responsibilities and we love to share your puppies progress with you. Our key learning milestones we focus on
with our puppies are:
